
Peshawar, March 29 At least three children were killed and two others were injured after the roof of a house collapsed due to heavy rainfall on Sunday in northwest Pakistan, officials said.
The incident occurred in the Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
According to initial reports, five children from the same family were trapped under the debris.
Rescue officials confirmed that two children were pulled out alive from the rubble and were taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
However, the officials were unable to rescue the other three children.
Authorities added that the condition of the injured children requires monitoring, while further details about the incident are being gathered.
