
Medininagar, March 15 Four people were critically injured after an LPG cylinder explosion triggered a fire in a building in Palamu district of Jharkhand on Sunday, police said.
The incident occurred at Bairiya Chowk within the Town police station in Palamu, where reportedly around 50 to 60 LPG cylinders were illegally stored on the ground floor of the building, they said.
"Four people, aged between 20 and 30, sustained critical burn injuries in the blast. All of them have been rushed to Medinirai Medical College & Hospital for treatment. Two fire tenders were deployed at the site, and the fire has been extinguished," Medininagar SDPO Rajeev Ranjan told
