Chennai, March 24 AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami will campaign in Chennai and its surrounding areas for three days, starting on March 25, the party said on Tuesday.
Palaniswami will campaign in the downtown Mylapore area here on Wednesday, the party said.
He will seek votes for the AIADMK and its allies in Alandur and the suburban area of Tambaram, respectively, on March 27. He will also campaign in the northern Chennai areas of RK Nagar and Tiruvotriyur on March 28.
A party release stated that Palaniswami will visit the districts of Kanniyakumari and Tirunelveli on March 29, and the following day, his campaign will be in the districts of Tenkasi and Thoothukudi.
On March 31, the AIADMK chief will solicit votes for the NDA in the districts of Virudhunagar and Ramanathapuram. On April 1, Palaniswami will focus his campaign in the districts of Sivaganga and Pudukottai.
The AIADMK chief launched his "Makkalai Kappom Tamilagathai Meetpom" (Let us protect the people, redeem Tamil Nadu) campaign in July 2025 in Coimbatore, vowing to remove the DMK government from power.
One of his campaign themes for the 2026 Assembly elections has been to "end dynastic rule and family politics."
