
KATHUA, FEBRUARY 18: Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Sharma conducted special village meetings and awareness camps in border villages, including Rathua, Ganjnal, Kadyala, and Gujjar Chack, to formulate plans under the Government of India's Vibrant Village Programme.
The camps aimed at participatory planning and preparing development plans based on local needs to improve socio-economic conditions. Residents actively shared their concerns and suggestions, which were noted for inclusion in the final draft.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized inclusive and holistic planning with a focus on youth and women, the saturation of welfare schemes, and phased infrastructure development. A similar camp was also held at Government High School Kadyala under the supervision of ADDC Surinder Mohan Sharma.
Border villages, including Bobiya, Kadyala, Ganjnal, Karol Krishna, Rathua, and Gujjar Chack, have been identified under the program to strengthen infrastructure and ensure full coverage of government schemes.
