
Mumbai, April 4 The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) on Saturday dismissed speculation of a power struggle and rift within the party, saying too much was being read into the communications between the top party leaders and the Election Commission of India (ECI), which took place in the wake of the death of party chief Ajit Pawar.
The party made its position clear amid allegations against senior leaders Praful Patel and Sunil Tatkare that they attempted to take control of the NCP after Ajit Pawar's death, and also speculation that the current party chief, Sunetra Pawar, was unhappy with them.
Speaking to
