REASI, February 17: Deputy Commissioner Nidhi Malik inaugurated a three-day Mobile Passport Van Service Camp at the DC Office Complex, organized by the Regional Passport Office, Jammu, under the Ministry of External Affairs.
The camp, running from February 17-19, allows residents to complete passport formalities locally, including document verification, photographs, and biometric processing, with 40 appointment slots per day. Malik highlighted the initiative's benefit for people in hilly and remote areas, reducing travel time and expenses.
Applicants must book appointments through the official portal, and the district administration will provide full support to ensure smooth operations and maximum public participation.
