A retired Oil India officer's anti-drug campaign reaches Pathsala
With the aim of creating a drug-free Assam and keeping the younger generation away from substance abuse, retired Oil India Limited officer Binod Patgiri reached Pathsala on Friday evening as part of his long-distance run from Dhubri to Sadiya.
Through this run, he is raising awareness across the state against drug abuse and encouraging young people to adopt a healthy lifestyle. The main objective of this initiative is to send a strong message against the growing problem of drug abuse in society and to motivate the youth towards a disciplined, sports-oriented, and healthy way of life.
Binod Patgiri began his run from Dhubri on February 25th. After his arrival in Pathsala, various organizations felicitated him in recognition of his efforts.
He continued his journey towards Sadiya on Saturday.
