
New Delhi, March 16 Mastercard announced the launch of ‘Lifestyle Navigator’ on Monday, an AI-powered travel and lifestyle concierge developed in collaboration with online travel platform MakeMyTrip. The platform aims to offer more personalized travel discovery and planning experiences.
The solution integrates MakeMyTrip’s travel marketplace and content ecosystem with its GenAI Trip Planning Assistant, Myra, along with Mastercard’s artificial intelligence capabilities to deliver curated travel recommendations and tailored offers to users.
Lifestyle Navigator is designed to go beyond generic recommendations by providing curated insights from food, culture, adventure, and retail specialists across key global destinations. It also recommends relevant payment products that can help travelers maximize benefits and savings.
According to the Mastercard Economics Institute's Economic Outlook 2026, India is projected to lead major Asia-Pacific economies, supported by strong domestic demand and accelerating digitization.
"Our AI-powered Trip Planning Assistant, Myra, has been developed to convert data-led insights into personalized experiences that are timely and relevant for each traveler. We are very happy to collaborate with Mastercard to power the trip planning experience with Lifestyle Navigator, to provide a smooth experience for our travelers," MakeMyTrip Co-founder and Group CEO Rajesh Magow said here.
He added that the company hopes travelers will find value in the enhanced trip planning capabilities being built through the collaboration.
According to Mastercard president (India and South Asia) Gautam Aggarwal, the platform brings together discovery, planning, and experiences through AI.
"By pairing Mastercard’s global network of offers and privileges with MakeMyTrip’s deep travel expertise, we are harnessing AI and data intelligence in a way that is practical, trusted, and deeply contextual – helping consumers make better decisions while enabling a more connected and intelligent travel ecosystem in India," he said.
It also brings together Mastercard’s iconic Priceless Experiences, partner offers, and premium content from leading Indian and global travel influencers into one intelligent, LLM-driven discovery interface, acting as a trusted companion that guides consumers before, during, and after their trip.
