
The Government ITI Kishtwar celebrated World Plumbing Day on March 11, 2026, in collaboration with the Jal Shakti Department, Kishtwar, as part of the ongoing Jal Mahotsav Pakhwada 2026.
The event featured enthusiastic participation from plumbing trainees, who attended in proper uniform and demonstrated their practical skills related to plumbing, water conservation, and the maintenance of water supply systems. The initiative aimed to highlight the important role of plumbers in ensuring safe water supply and sanitation.
During the event, trainees were made aware of the need for water conservation and sustainable water management. Discussions and demonstrations were also conducted on modern plumbing techniques, leak prevention, and efficient water distribution.
Officials from the Jal Shakti Department, along with staff and instructors from Government ITI Kishtwar, were present at the event. Speakers emphasized that skilled plumbers play a crucial role in protecting water resources and maintaining public health.
