New Delhi, February 28 Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the Jammu and Kashmir cricket team on Saturday for its first-ever Ranji Trophy win, stating that the historic achievement reflects the players' remarkable determination, discipline, and passion, and is a source of pride for the local people.
Modi expressed hope that this accomplishment will inspire many young athletes to set ambitious goals.

Jammu and Kashmir secured its maiden Ranji Trophy title based on a lead in the first innings after the final match against Karnataka ended in a draw in Hubballi on Saturday.
Jammu and Kashmir made its debut in India's premier domestic competition 67 years ago, which is now 92 years old.
