New Delhi, February 24 The Congress launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday after Uday Bhanu Chib, the chief of the Indian Youth Congress, was arrested in connection with the shirtless protest at the AI Impact Summit, saying the PM is "afraid" of dissent and questioning.
Chib was arrested by the Delhi Police in connection with the shirtless protest staged by a group of youth wing members at the AI Impact Summit here last week, officials said on Tuesday.
The police have also stepped up security across key locations in the capital in anticipation of possible protests following Chib's arrest, which has brought the total number of people arrested in the case to eight.
