March 02, New Delhi – Prime Minister Narendra Modi today emphasized that India stands for peace and stability amidst global tensions. He highlighted concerns over the situation in West Asia and reaffirmed India's commitment to dialogue, diplomacy, and the safety of its citizens.

In a joint statement after meeting Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney in New Delhi, he stressed the need for peace and stability.

Prime Minister Modi stated that India's position on ongoing global tensions is clear. "We have always called for maintaining peace and stability, and when two democracies stand together, the voice of peace becomes even stronger. The current situation in West Asia is a matter of deep concern for us. India supports the resolution of all disputes through dialogue and diplomacy. We will continue to work with all countries to ensure the safety of all Indian citizens in the region."
