
April 09, New Delhi – Election campaigns are in full swing for the assembly elections in Tamil Nadu and West Bengal.
Leaders from all political parties are holding rallies to attract voters in the two states in preparation for the elections. Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a public meeting in Haldia, West Bengal, in support of the Bharatiya Janata Party candidate.
This was the first of three rallies by the Prime Minister ahead of the elections scheduled for April 23 and 29 to elect all 294 members of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly.
The counting of votes for all four states and the Union Territory will take place on May 4, 2026.
