
Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated today that "Nari Shakti" (women's power) is driving India's progress towards a developed nation through increased participation in STEM fields, research, and innovation. Responding to an article by Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on social media, the Prime Minister said that India's development narrative is shifting from women's development to women-led development. In his article, Mr. Pradhan stated that Indian women are on track to become leaders in the knowledge economy. He also emphasized that the rapid advancement of Indian women in STEM, along with Prime Minister Modi's policy interventions, is aimed at expanding women's participation in sectors that are shaping the future of the global economy.
