Silchar prepares for PM Modi's visit to Silchar
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Silchar on March 14, where he is scheduled to lay the foundation stones and inaugurate several key development projects for the Barak Valley in Assam.
Speaking at a press conference, Barak Valley Development Minister Kaushik Rai said that the Prime Minister's visit is expected to accelerate the pace of development in the region.
He also informed that preparations are in full swing for the Prime Minister's public meeting at the Budhurail Bypass area in Silchar.
