
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Trichy in Tamil Nadu this evening, where he will inaugurate various completed projects and lay the foundation stones for development projects worth approximately 5,650 crore rupees. He will also address a rally organized by the NDA in Tamil Nadu later in the day.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be arriving in Trichy from Kerala this evening. He will also flag off five new train services, including two Amrit Bharat Express trains, two regular express trains, and one passenger train. He will also lay the foundation stone for Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited’s (BPCL) City Gas Distribution Network in the Nilgiris and Erode districts, with an estimated investment of over 3,680 crore rupees. He will also dedicate the Indian Oil Corporation’s Lube Blending Plant, with a capacity of 672 thousand metric tonnes per annum, in Chennai, with an investment of 1,490 crore rupees.
Under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, Mr Modi will also inaugurate 89 rural roads totaling 370 km across Tamil Nadu. He will also lay the foundation for a new bypass near Gangaikonda Cholapuram on NH-81. Elaborate security arrangements have been made to receive the Prime Minister. Various NDA alliance party leaders are stationed in Trichy. Mr Modi will meet them and later address a public rally.
