New Delhi, February 24 Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Rob Jetten on assuming the office of Prime Minister of the Netherlands on Tuesday, stating that he was looking forward to working closely with him to further strengthen the growing ties between the two countries.
Jetten, the youngest Prime Minister of the Netherlands, took office on Monday.
"Congratulations, Mr. Rob Jetten, on assuming the office of Prime Minister of the Netherlands. India and the Netherlands share a strong relationship across various sectors. I look forward to working closely with you to further strengthen the ties between our two countries and people," Modi wrote on X.
Jetten, 38, heads a three-party government consisting of his centrist D66, the centre-right Christian Democrats, and the centre-right People's Party for Freedom and Democracy.
