
RAJOURI, FEBRUARY 20: The District Office of the Jammu and Kashmir Khadi and Village Industries Board organized an awareness program in Muradpur-B to educate youth, women, ex-servicemen, and members of Self Help Groups about the Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) and the J&K Rural Employment Generation Programme (JKREGP).
Participants were briefed on project cost limits, subsidy patterns, eligibility criteria, online application processes, and bank support for loan disbursement. District Officer Sameer Ahmed emphasized that these schemes enable local youth to become job creators and promote rural self-reliance.
The event saw active participation, with attendees seeking clarifications on subsidies and loan procedures. The program concluded with a vote of thanks and plans to hold similar awareness camps across Rajouri.
