Chennai, March 26 PMK founder Dr S Ramadoss on Thursday appealed to the ECI to reconsider its decision to recognize his son, Anbumani, as the party president.
Ramadoss termed the Election Commission of India's decision to allow Anbumani to use the PMK's "mango" poll symbol as inappropriate, stating that the ECI should function in an "impartial manner."
"Deciding in favor of those who have usurped the party amounts to the murder of democracy," Ramadoss said in a statement here.
