
Jamtara (Jharkhand), February 22 A man was killed by three unidentified armed individuals on a motorcycle in the Jamtara district of Jharkhand on Sunday, according to police.
The incident occurred in Dharampur village, within the jurisdiction of the Narainpur police station, when the victim, identified as Furkan Ansari, a resident of the same village, had gone out for his morning tea at a stall around 8:15 am, police said.
Narainpur Police Officer in Charge Murad Hasan said, "The victim's body was handed over to his family members after a post-mortem examination at Sadar Hospital."
Police have launched an investigation into the matter, the OC said.
