
Thiruvananthapuram, April 9 Voting for the 140 Assembly seats in Kerala concluded at 6 pm on Thursday, with people still waiting in queues outside many polling stations.
Those present at the polling stations by 6 pm were given tokens and would be allowed to vote.
Until 5 pm, a turnout of 75.01% was recorded, slightly higher than the 74.06% turnout in the 2021 Assembly elections.
The final turnout will only be available after people leave the polling stations and cast their ballots.
