As a significant step towards strengthening port-led development in the country, Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways Sarbananda Sonowal has approved approximately 132 crore rupees for a critical port connectivity project at the Deendayal Port Authority in Gujarat. Mr. Sonowal stated that this project reflects the government's commitment to modern, efficient, and seamless port-led connectivity, under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He added that the construction of the Road Over Bridge at the Port will eliminate critical bottlenecks, improve cargo movement, and strengthen India's logistics efficiency.
