Multiple Passport Seva Kendras located at post offices in West Bengal received threatening emails today, informing them of the presence of bombs. Passport Seva Kendras in Cooch Behar, Bankura, and other districts received similar emails today. The relevant office premises have been secured, and the police have taken all necessary precautions.
This followed after judicial courts in West Bengal received emails on Tuesday and Wednesday, informing them of the placement of bombs at the court premises. The police found no bombs. An investigation is currently underway.
