The Indian Army and Indian Railways have launched a Framework of Cooperation to strengthen employment opportunities for Agniveers and Army personnel after their retirement.
In a social media post, the Additional Directorate General of Public Information of the Indian Army stated that the initiative aims to facilitate smoother transitions to civilian careers, raise awareness of employment opportunities within the Railways, and establish a responsive support system for retiring personnel.
It further added that the framework reflects a shared commitment to empowering veterans with fulfilling second careers while contributing to national development.
