Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan met with France's Special Envoy for Artificial Intelligence at the India AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi. In a social media post, Mr. Pradhan stated that both sides discussed strengthening Indo-French collaboration in the field of AI. He further added that the discussions also focused on greater collaboration in research, innovation, science, and emerging technologies.
He stated that human-centric, responsible, open, and inclusive AI frameworks will be the key drivers of global growth and prosperity. The Minister said that both India and France remain committed to developing safe, secure, ethical, and trustworthy AI for advancing development and global good.
