Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan stated that the National Education Policy 2020 promotes inclusive and accessible education and added that this year's budget provides significant support to education, employment, enterprise, innovation, and research. He made this statement during the concluding session of the Post-Budget Webinar, held virtually in New Delhi yesterday, titled "Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas – Fulfilling Aspirations of People."

Mr. Pradhan noted that the significant participation from a diverse group of domain experts and stakeholders reflected participatory governance in its truest form. He thanked all the stakeholders for their valuable suggestions and insights and expressed confidence that they would play a crucial role in implementing the budget announcements on the ground.

The discussions focused on strengthening the linkages between education and employment, developing curricula that are relevant for the future, and expanding skill development pathways. The meeting also emphasized the importance of fostering innovation-driven ecosystems through collaboration among ministries, academia, industry, civil society, and implementation partners.
