
Kolkata, February 19 CPI(M) youth leader Pratikur Rahman, whose resignation from the party caused a stir in West Bengal's political circles, claimed on Thursday that he was pressured within the party for expressing his views on ideology and principles.
Criticizing CPI(M) state secretary Mohammed Salim for meeting former TMC leader Humayun Kabir, who recently faced controversy over the construction of a mosque in Murshidabad modeled after the Babri Masjid, Rahman asserted that the party's leadership had treated him unfairly.
