
New Delhi, March 12 Former Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu held several meetings with key public representatives and others who worked closely with Atal Bihari Vajpayee on Thursday to discuss the activities that the Atal Smriti Nyas Society would undertake.
Naidu, who is the president of the Atal Smriti Nyas Society, said that the society's underlying mission is to preserve and promote the legacy of the former prime minister Vajpayee and to honor his life, values, and contributions to the nation.
Naidu interacted extensively with BJP president Nitin Nabin, Union Ministers Pralhad Joshi and G. Kishan Reddy, and Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, Rajiv Pratap Rudy and Syed Shahnawaz Hussain – all of whom also served in Vajpayee's cabinet.
The former Vice President also met former ABVP national general secretary Raj Kumar Bhatia, BJP national general secretary Arun Singh, Vajpayee's former media advisor Ashok Tandon, and the ex-PM's OSD Raj Kumar Sharma.
