
March 21, New Delhi — President Droupadi Murmu’s third day of her three-day visit to the Braj region was marked by devotion and faith.
President Murmu arrived in Govardhan, where she offered prayers, followed by the aarti. Strict security arrangements were made for the President’s visit, with a large number of devotees also present.
After offering prayers, President Droupadi Murmu began the famous approximately 21-kilometer parikrama (circumambulation) of Giriraj Maharaj, which is considered extremely sacred in the Braj region. Millions of devotees undertake this pilgrimage every year with deep devotion.
The President’s religious programme attracted attention not only from the local community but also from devotees across the country. Her visit is being seen as a sign of respect for faith, culture, and tradition.
