New Delhi, April 11 President Droupadi Murmu expressed her condolences on Saturday for the loss of life in a multi-vehicle collision that occurred in Bihar and prayed for the swift recovery of those injured.
At least 13 people were killed and 30 others were injured following a collision involving a bus, a truck, and a pickup van in Katihar district, Bihar, on Saturday evening, according to a police officer.
"The news of the deaths of people in a road accident in Katihar, Bihar, is extremely distressing. I extend my condolences to the bereaved families and pray that all the injured persons recover quickly," Murmu said in a post on X in Hindi.
