
March 19, New Delhi – President Droupadi Murmu and Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan have extended greetings to citizens on the occasion of the traditional New Year festivals celebrated across the country.
In her message, the President highlighted festivals like Ugadi, Gudi Padwa, and others as symbols of India’s cultural diversity and expressed hope for prosperity and new beginnings.
The Vice President also conveyed his wishes, noting that these festivals mark the start of the New Year and spring, and wished for happiness, prosperity, and optimism for all.

Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan wrote on X, "On this auspicious occasion of Nav Samvatsar, Chaitra Shukladi, Ugadi, Gudi Padwa, Cheti Chand, Navreh, Sajibu Cheiraoba, and the commencement of Chaitra Navratri, I extend my warm greetings and best wishes to all fellow citizens.
