
New Delhi, April 1 The office of Delhi Mayor Raja Iqbal Singh received a bomb threat via email on Wednesday, an official said.
"The email purportedly came from a group identifying itself as the "Khalistan National Army". Security agencies were immediately alerted, and security around the mayor's office was tightened, along with thorough checks being conducted," a senior police officer said.
According to preliminary information, the threat was sent to the mayor's official email ID, claiming that the office would be blown up around 2:11 pm.
Police said that cyber teams are analyzing the origin of the email, and efforts are underway to trace the sender. Further investigation is ongoing, police added.
