Lakhimpur Kheri (UP), April 2 An investigation has been ordered into the death of a tigress that was hit by a train in the Dudhwa buffer zone, officials said on Thursday.
The tigress, estimated to be five to six years old, was found dead near the Bankeyganj-Mailani railway track in the Mailani range of the Dudhwa buffer zone.
Following the postmortem, officials of the Dudhwa buffer zone have initiated an investigation into the cause of its death.
