Ramban, April 9: District Development Commissioner Mohammad Alyas Khan chaired a meeting to review the progress of major Rural Development Department schemes, including PMAY-G, MGNREGA, SBM-G, District Capex Budget, and others.
The meeting was attended by senior district and sectoral officers. The DDC assessed both physical and financial progress and directed officials to expedite pending works and ensure timely completion.
He emphasized clearing pending PMAY-G cases within the stipulated timeframe and called for close monitoring by Tehsildars and BDOs. Reviewing the District Capex Budget 2026–27, he instructed that Gram Panchayat priorities be reflected in development planning.
The DDC stressed effective monitoring, timely verification, and proper implementation to ensure benefits reach people at the grassroots level.
