The projects focus on modernizing facilities for pilgrims while preserving the state's historical legacy. A significant portion of the funding, amounting to ₹20.09 crore, is dedicated to the holistic development of the famous Harshad Mata Temple.
In Junagadh, the historic Uparkot Fort will undergo the first phase of upgrades, featuring new parking facilities, a tourist center, and the installation of two state-of-the-art lifts to enhance accessibility for visitors.
In a move to honor the freedom struggle, ₹3.36 crore was granted for the restoration of the historic Gandhi Ashram in Godhra, established in 1917. The government also ensured the cultural vibrancy of tribal regions by providing ₹1.25 crore for the grand celebration of the traditional 'Dang Darbar-2026'.
