The central excise duty has been reduced by Rs. 10 per litre on both petrol and diesel, shielding consumers from rising costs. Export duties have been strategically levied at Rs. 21.5 per litre on diesel and Rs. 29.5 on aviation turbine fuel, ensuring a stable domestic supply. I express my deepest gratitude to Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for this visionary intervention, which ensures affordability, prevents price escalation, and prioritizes India's interests above all.
