REASI, March 16: The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Reasi organized several legal awareness programs across the district.
An awareness camp on the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006 was held at the Mahore Court Complex, where participants were informed about the legal provisions and the need to eliminate child marriage.
PLVs (Public Legal Volunteers) also conducted outreach activities in various areas, distributing pumps to farmers and raising awareness about free legal aid services and welfare schemes.
Another program at the Panchayat of Karua-Katra highlighted the role and functioning of Legal Aid Clinics, encouraging people – especially those from weaker sections – to access free legal assistance and justice services.
