March 29, New Delhi: "No Kings" protests against Donald Trump began on Saturday across major cities in the United States, with over 3,200 events planned across all 50 states and several cities abroad.
Demonstrators marched from Arlington to Washington, D.C. in the latest protest against the President's policies. The rallies come as his approval rating has fallen to 36 percent, the lowest since his return to the White House. Tens of thousands marched through Manhattan, protesting against hardline immigration policies and the conflict with Iran.
Hundreds of demonstrators joined rallies in Philadelphia as part of nationwide protests against the administration. In St. Paul, demonstrators participated in the third edition of the rallies, calling for action against the US and Israel's bombardment of Iran.
In Dallas, thousands marched in protests, though clashes broke out with counter-protesters, including a group led by Enrique Tarrio. Meanwhile, in Rome, thousands took to the streets as part of coordinated demonstrations across Europe and the United States.
Around hundreds of Americans living in Madrid gathered at Puerta del Sol to protest President Trump's policies, joining a global day of demonstrations organised by Democrats Abroad.
