
DODA, FEBRUARY 26: Deputy Commissioner Doda, Krishan Lal, today chaired a public outreach camp in Panthan, Thathri, to address local concerns and strengthen grassroots governance.
During the camp, residents raised issues including upgrading the local high school, demolishing unsafe school buildings, water shortages, road construction, replacing electricity poles, constructing a dispensary, and improving the implementation of sheep husbandry and women welfare schemes.
The DC directed the Chief Education Officer to assess unsafe school buildings, the CMO to coordinate land for the dispensary, and the Sheep Husbandry and Social Welfare Departments to conduct awareness programs for eligible beneficiaries. Improvements to the water supply and electricity infrastructure under RDSS were also discussed, and the Horticulture Department was instructed to promote water-efficient plantations under HADP.
The Deputy Commissioner urged public cooperation for participatory development and inspected the progress on the local playground, directing officers to expedite completion.
The camp was attended by ADDC Roshan Lal, CPO Manesh Kumar, Executive Engineers, AC Development, ICDS officials, CEO, CMO, DSWO, and other district officers.
