He stated that the Congress and DMK had become obstacles to Puducherry's development.
Modi also emphasized the importance of developing Puducherry into a medical tourism hub, highlighting its existing nine medical colleges. He stressed the need for good governance and development, and highlighted the success of the AINRC-BJP coalition government in the territory.
In his address, Modi announced several new projects and initiatives, including the launch of electric buses under the PM e-Bus Seva Initiative, the Integrated Command and Control Centre under the Smart City Mission, and affordable housing projects for economically weaker sections. He also announced upgrades to infrastructure, including the Pondicherry University and road projects.
Modi concluded by reiterating his commitment to Puducherry's development and its people, highlighting the territory's rich cultural heritage and its potential as a medical tourism hub. He also called for greater connectivity between Puducherry and neighboring cities, such as Chennai.
