April 08, New Delhi: Amidst tight security, polling parties in Puducherry departed for their respective locations on Wednesday. Carrying polling materials and EVMs, the teams traveled in buses escorted by police vehicles to ensure safety and smooth transportation.
A DD correspondent spoke exclusively with the District Magistrate of Puducherry, who highlighted the security measures and preparations for the upcoming elections.
