
Pune, March 16 A 33-year-old woman was killed by a pack of stray dogs in the Pune district early Monday morning, police said.
The incident, which was captured on CCTV, occurred around 2 am when the woman, identified as Shobha Waghmare, was walking on a service road adjacent to the Pune-Nashik Highway.
"The woman was walking on the road when a pack of stray dogs suddenly attacked her. Because it was late at night, there was no one around on the road. Unfortunately, she died instantly," an official from the Chakan police station said.
An accidental death report has been filed, he added.
