April 11, New Delhi – Russian President Vladimir Putin chaired a meeting at the Kremlin on Friday to discuss the development of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in Russia, a day after announcing an Easter ceasefire in Ukraine.
Putin stated that by 2030, AI-driven technologies should be widely implemented across all sectors of the economy, including manufacturing, logistics, energy, governance, and education.
On Thursday, Putin announced a 32-hour ceasefire, starting and running throughout Orthodox Easter until midnight on Sunday.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who has repeatedly proposed an Easter truce, quickly said that Kyiv would abide by the measure.
