Rahul Gandhi Criticized for 'Anti-India' Stunt.webp

New Delhi, March 10 – The BJP intensified its attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday, criticizing his support for and endorsement of the "shirtless stunt" performed by members of the Indian Youth Congress at the recent Artificial Intelligence (AI) Summit, and comparing him to traitors like Mir Jafar (a historical figure notorious for betraying his master).

BJP MP Sambit Patra, addressing journalists at the party headquarters, launched a scathing attack on the Leader of the Opposition, accusing him of betraying and humiliating the nation for petty political gains.

He stated that the AI expo was an event where various heads of state from foreign nations, global experts, tech leaders, and innovators had gathered to celebrate India's progress and achievements in the field, but the Congress chose to embarrass and insult the nation with its "anti-national" act.

Specifically, Patra referred to Rahul's smirk and demeanor on the All India Congress platform last night, where he patted the back of IYC members with remarks like "kaam kar diya" (got it done), saying that this clearly showed that the shirtless protest at the AI expo was not a mere coincidence but a deliberate and well-thought-out strategy by the Congress party to embarrass the country.

"His smile, demeanor, and the way he mocked the AI Summit are alarming. The way a traitor takes pride, a similar smile was seen on Rahul's face, reflecting nothing less than that of Mir Jafar," the BJP MP pointed out.

Further reiterating the IYC protest as "shameless, brainless, and top-less," he said that this shows that the entire conspiracy was not just hatched at Rahul's house, but he was also the "chief architect and designer of the anti-India stunt done to defame and demean India."

He also criticized the Congress MP's attire, claiming that he chooses to attend Parliament in tracksuits, and this shows his disrespect for the House and fellow members.

Earlier in the day, the BJP invoked India's first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru to condemn Rahul Gandhi's support for the shirtless protest at the AI Expo.

Amit Malviya, the head of the BJP's IT cell, said that Nehru, being the Congress party's ideological fountainhead, held a different view about nationalism and loyalty, which is different from today's Congress thought and strategy.

"When the world's leading technology experts, policymakers, and innovators were discussing the future of Artificial Intelligence, the Congress party thought the best way to represent India was through disruption and indecency," he pointed out.
