Bhubaneswar, March 12 A fire broke out at a railway workshop in Bhubaneswar on Thursday evening, officials said.
The blaze erupted in the scrap deposit area of the coaching depot at the Mancheswar railway workshop around 8:30 pm, they said.
The fire was promptly controlled using the internal resources available at the workshop, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) said in a statement.
"The situation was quickly and effectively brought under control. There has been no damage to any railway property, infrastructure, or rolling stock, and no injuries have been reported," it said.
