Jaipur, April 6 Three people, including a child, were killed and one man was injured after a bus collided with a motorcycle from behind in Sawai Madhopur district, Rajasthan, on Monday, police said.
The accident occurred near a toll plaza under construction in the Thadi village of Gangapur City area, they said.
According to police, Nargis (23), her one-year-old son Alveer, and Bano (60), residents of Kazi Colony in Gangapur City, died in the accident. Sajid (25) sustained minor injuries, they added.
Police said the family was travelling on a single motorcycle to attend a wedding ceremony when the bus hit their vehicle.
"Sajid was wearing a helmet, which helped save his life, but his mother, wife, and child died on the spot," a police officer said.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem, and further investigation is underway, police said.
