Rajasthan & Madhya Pradesh Collaborate on Growth.webp

Jaipur, March 21 Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh are working together across multiple sectors and joint projects to boost economic growth, employment, and regional development, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said on Saturday.

Speaking at a session on investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh here, Yadav said there is significant scope for collaboration across sectors between the two neighbouring states.

"Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh are like twin brothers. There are immense possibilities for both states to move forward together and ensure prosperity and employment for the people," he said.

The chief minister said both governments are exploring cooperation in key areas and have already initiated discussions on inter-state water-sharing and infrastructure projects.

Referring to the Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal (PKC) project, Yadav said it is an example of how coordinated efforts can help in optimal utilization of water resources.

"We have discussed water sharing under projects like Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal. Such initiatives will benefit both states," he said.

He said the time is opportune for states to work in coordination as the country is progressing rapidly. "As the country is moving forward, states can also grow faster by working together," he added.

Yadav also called upon stakeholders and people to actively participate in strengthening economic ties and exploring new opportunities.

"This is the right time to expand possibilities across sectors. I urge everyone to come forward and contribute to the development of both Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh," he said.

The chief minister said several sectors, including infrastructure, water management, and employment generation, offer strong potential for collaboration, and both states are committed to taking forward such initiatives.
