Rajasthan Minister Assures Adequate LPG Stock.webp

Jaipur, March 12 Rajasthan Food and Civil Supplies Minister Sumit Godara said on Thursday that there is an adequate supply of domestic LPG cylinders in the state and urged consumers not to panic over the supply.

Godara said that the government has constituted vigilance teams in all districts to prevent hoarding, diversion, or misuse of domestic LPG cylinders in view of the current situation arising from international developments.

"District collectors and other officials are conducting regular inspections, and daily reports from district-level committees have indicated that there is no black marketing or illegal storage of domestic cylinders in the state," he told reporters.

The minister appealed to consumers to book LPG cylinders only after the stipulated time – 25 days after the last delivery in urban areas, and 45 days in rural areas.

He also advised people to book cylinders only through mobile applications, websites, WhatsApp or IVRS and avoid visiting gas agencies for bookings.

Godara said that the situation regarding domestic LPG supply is normal and deliveries are being made to consumers within two to three days of booking.

"All deliveries are being carried out through OTP verification to ensure that cylinders reach genuine consumers," he said.
