
New Delhi, March 13 ACME Solar Holdings announced on Friday that it has commenced operations of a 142.67-MW battery energy storage system project in Rajasthan.
The project, which is part of a 481.49-MWh unit of battery energy storage system, is connected to the operational interstate transmission system, the company said in an exchange filing.
"ACME Solar Holdings Ltd (ACME Solar), through its various subsidiaries, has commissioned 142.67 MW/481.49 MWh of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in phase-1 out of its total planned BESS capacity of 585 MW/2011.24 MWh...," the company said.
ACME Solar, based in Gurugram, is a leading integrated renewable energy player with a diversified portfolio of 8,071 MW spanning solar, wind, storage, and hybrid solutions.
