Jaipur, March 24 The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) announced the results for classes 5, 8, and 10 on Tuesday, with overall pass percentages remaining above 94 per cent, officials said.

Education Minister Madan Dilawar announced the official release of the results from the board office in Ajmer.

The class 10 examination recorded a pass percentage of 94.23 per cent, an increase of 1.17 percentage points from last year. Girls outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 94.90 per cent compared to 93.63 per cent for boys.

Over 10.68 lakh students appeared in the class 10 exams, which were conducted from February 12. Several students scored full marks in Hindi, English, Social Science, Science, Mathematics, Sanskrit, Urdu, and Punjabi.

In Jaipur, Ridhi-ma Jangid of a private school secured 99.67 per cent marks, scoring full marks in multiple subjects.

The class 5 and class 8 results also recorded high success rates, with overall results exceeding 97 per cent. The pass percentage for class 5 stood at 97.75 per cent, slightly higher than class 8 at 97.01 per cent.

Out of 13,68,947 students in Class 5, 13,33,936 passed, while in Class 8, 12,45,735 out of 12,86,220 students cleared the exams.

Officials said girls performed better than boys in both classes. Around 74,000 students were placed in the supplementary category, while the results of about 6,500 students were withheld.

Soon after the results were announced, students faced difficulties accessing the official results website due to heavy traffic, although results were available on alternative private platforms, officials added.
